Beth R. Woods, Ph.D.
Director

Beth Woods is the Director of the Department of Research and Computational Data Management (RCDM) in the UGA Libraries. She is responsible for leading the RCDM team and its service offerings, including the DigiLab. She works in close partnership with the Research Data Management Advisory Council (RDM-AC) and campus stakeholders including the Office of Research and EITS to strengthen and enhance the university’s support for research and innovation. Beth holds a Ph.D. in Learning, Design, and Technology. 

Meagan Duever, MLIS
GIS Coordinator

Meagan Duever is the Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Librarian for the Department of Research and Computational Data Management in the UGA Libraries.

Meagan leads workshops focused on GIS, geospatial data and concepts, and maps in addition to providing consultation support for students, faculty, and staff.

Katie Ireland, Ph.D.
Interim Lab Coordinator

Katie Ireland is the Interim Lab Coordinator for the Department of Research and Computational Data Management in the UGA Libraries. She holds a Ph.D. in Linguistics from UGA, and her research is focused on using digital tools in text analysis, corpus linguistics, and language variation. 

Katie is responsible for coordinating RCDM outreach programming, including workshops and colloquia. She also oversees the lab’s graduate assistants and coordinates the lab's walk-in data consultations.

Camila Lívio, Ph.D.
Scholarly Communications

Camila Lívio is the Scholarly Communications Coordinator for the Department of Research and Computational Data Management in the UGA Libraries. She holds a Ph.D. in Romance Languages from UGA, and her research focuses on using digital tools to analyze linguistic patterns.

In addition to her work supporting Scholarly Communications, Camila leads collaborations with the R-Ladies group, workshops on computational tools like R, and teaches about digital scholarship.

Kellie Templeman, Ph.D.
Research Data Management Coordinator

Kellie Templeman is the Research Data Management Coordinator for the Department of Research and Computational Data Management in the UGA Libraries. She holds a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from UGA, and her research is focused on digital learning strategies, educational engagement, and the perceptions, impact, and effectiveness of online learning. 

Kellie is responsible for supporting UGA researchers with research management planning, which includes providing guidance related to policies, best practices, open data sharing and reuse, as well as planning for appropriate preservation and storage solutions. She also leads workshops and seminars on research data management topics and offers data consultations by appointment to students, faculty, and staff.

Graduate Assistants

Keiko Bridwell

Keiko Bridwell is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Linguistics. She works as a research assistant at the DigiLab, where she leads workshops on various digital tools, including Excel and R, and is available for consultation about digital projects. Keiko’s research in linguistics focuses on sociophonetic variation in Southern American English. 

Brent Peterson

Brent Peterson is a Ph.D. student in the Linguistics Department and holds a dual appointment as a Research Assistant for the DigiLab and the Linguistic Atlas Project. For the DigiLab, he leads workshops on selected topics and is available to help students, faculty, and staff with digital projects. He aims to work at the intersection of comparative-historical linguistics, digital humanities, corpus linguistics, and natural language processing (NLP). 

Michael Wolfman

Michael Wolfman is a Ph.D. student in the Linguistics Department. He works as a research assistant at the DigiLab, where he leads workshops on various digital tools and is available for consultation about digital projects.
